Hello. My name is Derek Scarborough. I have a B.S. in Computer Engineering, an M.S. in Software Engineering, and am currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science and Software Engineering. Since I was very young, I have wanted to be a computer engineer. I have twenty-five plus years experience (30+ counting my youth) in multiple disciplines including software, networking, and hardware / embedded. I am a quick and efficient learner for new skills and I bring a team and task first disposition to projects and therefore expeditously adapt to dynamic situations and environments.
